Carbon poles are essential for strenuous hikes now that I'm 63. These poles are the reason I was able to complete Guadeloupe Trail in Texas. Hike Hinger replaced one for me with zero hassle. Great product and great company.

I received my substitute hiking pole a few days after placing my order. I just needed the top section with the strap but I ordered a whole pole anyway. I met my friend in Maine and we hiked Katahdin. Katahdin doesn't get the same rating, IYKYK.

Extra Stability for slippery trails
So much to love about these poles: light-weight, packable; has markings to easily adjust the length; various tips included, and a cool color. I got purple. I used them on numerous hikes through Olympic Nat’l park, where it was a bit slippery, giving me stability navigating puddles and slick logs.
